Located @ 180 Hwy 20 South,
Dave & Cindy Denton purchased the feed store in 1997, renaming
it
White Horse Feed & Seed. In 2003, after the store was expanded,
the name was changed to White
Horse Country Store.
Many ask the question, why the name "White Horse?" In the
Bible,
Revelation 19:11 reads, "and I saw the heaven opened, and behold a white
horse;
and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True..." This verse
refers
to the Lord Jesus Christ coming in the clouds to judge the nations and set up
His thousand-year kingdom.
Many have asked, why make reference to this Bible passage on a "feed store
sign?"
To know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour makes all the difference in your
life. With this in mind Dave & Cindy wanted something that pointed to the
Lord
and showed the difference He has made in their lives.
